Basketball Recap: Crescent Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Crescent put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 73-66 win over the Fairview Yellowjackets. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Crescent's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Fairview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crescent will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hennessey at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Fairview will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Minco at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Fairview is facing Minco at the right time seeing as Minco is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
