Basketball Game Preview: Agua Fria Owls vs. Cactus Cobras

The Agua Fria Owls will take on the Cactus Cobras at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Agua Fria is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Agua Fria came up short against Deer Valley on Tuesday, falling 71-45. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cactus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 55-46 victory over Estrella Foothills on Tuesday.

Agua Fria's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Cactus, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Agua Fria didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Cactus in their previous meeting on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 52-48 victory. Will Agua Fria repeat their success, or does Cactus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
