Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Barnesville Shamrocks

Shenandoah and Barnesville are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barnesville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Shenandoah, who comes in off a win.

Shenandoah is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Shadyside by a score of 67-59 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Barnesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Union Local, falling 77-34. While losing is never fun, the Shamrocks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 490th, while the Jets are ranked 148th).

The win got Shenandoah back to even at 3-3. As for Barnesville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Shenandoah came up short against Barnesville in their previous meeting back in January, falling 62-49. Can Shenandoah avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
