Basketball Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

Wakefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Solomon Gorillas and fell 57-13. The Bombers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gorillas from their previous meeting back in February.

Despite the loss, Wakefield still got an impressive performance from Kingsley Smith, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Solomon, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wakefield will host Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Solomon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pike Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
