Baseball Recap: Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short

Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the ThunderRidge Grizzlies, falling 6-0. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Highlands Ranch's record is now 3-18. As for ThunderRidge, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Highlands Ranch will take on Summit at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for ThunderRidge, they will face off against Boulder at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
