Volleyball Recap: Polk County Takes a Loss

Polk County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Polk County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-15.

Polk County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Polk County will face off against rival Lookout Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is set to challenge their familiar foe Tellico Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
