Deerfield had already won 16 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 17 on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-35 victory over the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-34 back in January.

Deerfield pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Palmyra-Eagle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.
