There's no place like home for Highlands, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-52 win over the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-27 last Tuesday.

Blue Ridge Early College's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Dakota Kinsey, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards, and Anthony Baumgarner, who posted 12 points and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave Kinsey a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was William Russell, who earned eight points and five rebounds.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Blue Ridge Early College, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
