Football Recap: Roane County Raiders vs. Ripley Vikings

While Roane County's win against Ripley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders skirted past the Vikings 38-36. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

Javon Letourneau had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 201 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 201 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Leo Rogers also helped with two scores in total.

Despite the loss, Ripley still got an impressive performance from Cody Lawrence, who picked up 153 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 147 yards and one TD on only 14 carries.
