Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Finds Home Field Redemption Against Vista Grande

There's no place like home for Patrick Henry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Vista Grande Spartans by a score of 6-2 on Thursday.

Nate Moloney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tyson Bobo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Patrick Henry's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 4-5-1 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Alex Mestman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Vista Grande, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6-1.
