Basketball Recap: Blake Oglialoro's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Palisades over Saucon Valley

Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Saucon Valley Panthers, falling 49-28. The Pirates were probably out for revenge after losing 68-43 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Blake Oglialoro, who posted 12 points.

It was another big night for Adam Clark, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 19 points for Saucon Valley. Jack Robertson was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven boards and six assists.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Saucon Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Palisades didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-40 defeat against Northwestern Lehigh on the 13th. As for Saucon Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-40 victory against Jim Thorpe on the 13th.
