Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-7 to the Lincoln Mustangs. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 12-5 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on April 17. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to take on Galileo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
