Softball Recap: Dover Victorious

Dover won against West York Area on Wednesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eastern York Golden Knights, sneaking past 7-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Eastern York, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5-1.

Looking ahead, Dover will challenge Susquehannock at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eastern York, they will be playing at home against West York Area at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
