Basketball Game Preview: North Branch Vikings vs. Princeton Tigers

North Branch hasn't had much luck against Princeton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The North Branch Vikings will challenge the Princeton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North Branch is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 76-25 loss at the hands of Zimmerman. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Thunder are ranked 164th).

Meanwhile, Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 80-55 to Becker.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for North Branch, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

North Branch took a serious blow against Princeton when the teams last played back in January, falling 82-49. Can North Branch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
