Basketball Game Preview: Holyoke Purple Knights vs. Sci-Tech CyberCats

The Holyoke Purple Knights will square off against the Sci-Tech CyberCats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Holyoke's favor as the squad sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Sci-Tech has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Holyoke managed to keep up with Central until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Holyoke came up short against Central, falling 90-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (64), the Purple Knights still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Sci-Tech lost 65-45 to Holyoke two weeks ago.

Holyoke's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-2. As for Sci-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Holyoke took their win against Sci-Tech in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 65-45. Will Holyoke repeat their success, or does Sci-Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
