Basketball Recap: Lakeland Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Lakeland won the last time they faced West Noble and things went their way on Friday too. The Lakeland Lakers walked away with a 42-34 win over the West Noble Chargers. The 42-point effort marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Among those leading the charge was Levi Cook, who posted six points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Carlson, who put up nine points.

Lakeland pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for West Noble, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

Lakeland has already played their next match (against Central Noble), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-33 win against Eastside on the 14th.
