Flag Football Recap: Reseda Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Reseda had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 13-6 win over the Van Nuys Wolves on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Regents: when they faced off against the Wolves two weeks ago, they had to take a 6-0 defeat.

Despite the loss, Van Nuys saw an underclassman step up: sophomore ISABELLA ESPINOZA rushed for 67 yards and one score.

Reseda's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-12-1. As for Van Nuys, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Reseda has already played their next contest, a 66-6 defeat against Kennedy on the 30th. As for Van Nuys, they will challenge Taft at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
