Basketball Recap: Jackson-Reed Snags 12th Win in Last 13 Games

Jackson-Reed had won six straight home games and Aminyah Muhammad did her part to make it seven on Wednesday. The Jackson-Reed Tigers strolled past the McKinley Tech Trainers with points to spare, taking the game 53-38 thanks in part to Muhammad, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.7 rebounds per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Noa Gordon, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 13 points and five boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Jackson-Reed has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.2 points per game. As for McKinley Tech, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

As of now, neither Jackson-Reed nor McKinley Tech have any future games scheduled.
