Basketball Recap: Hubbertville Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Hubbertville entered their tilt with Berry on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Berry Wildcats 62-36. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hubbertville was led to victory by Georgia Gardner and Addison Tucker. Gardner dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 steals, while Tucker went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points along with eight assists and five steals. With that strong performance, Gardner is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Layla Frederick, who posted five points and five boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Hubbertville was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Hubbertville pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Berry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
