Football Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Edward came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 63-0 loss at the hands of the Aurora Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Green Wave can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 490th, while the Eagles are ranked 159th).

St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Aurora Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Edward is set to take on their familiar foe Christ the King at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aurora Christian will face off against rival Chicago Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
