Loyalton had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Everything went their way against the Happy Camp Indians as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Thor Corcoran made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Loyalton pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Happy Camp, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Loyalton and Happy Camp will both be playing Plumas Charter the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
