Football Recap: Cedar Park Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cedar Park Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Granite Falls Tigers at home by a 29-13 margin. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Cedar Park Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tre Samuelu rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 127 yards and one TD.

Beau Everson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 187 yards and one score while picking up 9.4 yards per carry for Granite Falls. That's the most rushing yards Everson has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cedar Park Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Granite Falls, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.
