Basketball Game Preview: West Henderson Falcons vs. East Henderson Eagles

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the West Henderson Falcons face off against the East Henderson Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday... The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Henderson has three straight wins, East Henderson has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

West Henderson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 65-27 victory over North Henderson. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Knights are ranked 474th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, East Henderson came up short against Franklin on Tuesday, falling 62-39.

East Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for West Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
