Central posted their closest victory since August 19th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blacksher Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won three matches in a row.

Abigail Persichini paced Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Persichini got some help from Laney Mathews and her 13 assists. Finally, Persichini was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Blacksher, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Milton on the 4th. As for Blacksher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against W.S. Neal on the 4th.
