In what's become a running theme this season, Christ the King gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets as the Christ the King Crusaders made off with a 12-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Christ the King considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Patrick Walsh and Chad Wilson made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Walsh struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off only two hits. Meanwhile, Wilson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk).
