Volleyball Recap: Damien Finds Home Court Redemption Against Ysleta

There's no place like home for Damien, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ysleta Indians on Saturday.

Damien not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ysleta between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

The victory got Damien back to even at 1-1. As for Ysleta, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Coming up, Damien will challenge Kamehameha Kapalama at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Monarchs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ysleta, they will take on Waiakea at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
