Volleyball Recap: Lake Worth Christian Takes a Loss

Lake Worth Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Atlantic Christian Sharks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Lake Worth Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-10.

Lake Worth Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Lake Worth Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Somerset Academy - Canyons on the 17th. As for Atlantic Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Leonard on the 16th.
