Basketball Recap: Lake Zurich Comes Up Short

Lake Zurich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palatine Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly six points.

Lake Zurich's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Palatine, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Lake Zurich nor Palatine have any future games scheduled.
