Volleyball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-13.

Looking ahead, Canton will square off against Baltic at 6:45 p.m. on the 27th. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Madison on the 18th.
