You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Georgetown G-Men's strategy against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals on Friday. Georgetown strolled past Felicity-Franklin with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. The victory was nothing new for Georgetown as they're now sitting on three straight.
Despite the loss, Felicity-Franklin still got an impressive performance from Zander Marlow, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Marlow has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Forbes, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Georgetown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Felicity-Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
Georgetown will square off against North Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Adams is coming into the game with seven straight victories at home, so Georgetown is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
