Calhoun came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 72-64 victory over the Adairsville Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Yellow Jackets: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 71-54 loss.

Calhoun was led to victory by Jaxon Moore and Trace Hawkins. Moore dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Hawkins posted 21 points and six assists. The dominant performance also gave Moore a new career-high in steals (four). Jace Johns was another key player, going 5 of 12 en route to 16 points.

Calhoun smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Adairsville only pulled down three offensive boards.

Despite the loss, Adairsville still got an impressive performance from Tre Winters, who went 10 for 19 on his way to 23 points along with seven assists and three steals. The match was Winters' sixth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavious Nalls, who scored 15 points.

Calhoun's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Adairsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Calhoun wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 88-51 victory against Ridgeland on the 7th. As for Adairsville, they have also already played their next game, a 62-53 win against Darlington on the 6th.
