Basketball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

There's no place like home for Elk Point-Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Tri-Valley Mustangs by a score of 47-36 on Thursday. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Mustangs are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Elk Point-Jefferson is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Elk Point-Jefferson has already played their next game (against Arlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tri-Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against West Central.
