Basketball Recap: Sebring Triumphs

Sebring won the last time they faced Hardee, and Molly Jane Zwayer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Sebring Blue Streaks strolled past the Hardee Wildcats with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 40-24 thanks in part to Zwayer, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season.

Ashley Dean was another key player, putting up two points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tylia Graham, who posted seven points along with seven boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Keyani Taylor, who scored six points and four steals.

Sebring's record now sits at 8-4. As for Hardee, their record now sits at 6-6.

Sebring wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-53 win against Victory Christian Academy on the 17th. Hardee has also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lake Placid on the 17th.
