Football Recap: Evansville Bosse Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Evansville Bosse's offense. They were outmatched by the Castle Knights and fell 56-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Knights are ranked 53rd).

Aaron Smith Jr had an outrageously good game for Castle as he rushed for 152 yards and a pair of scores. Smith Jr really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run. Another player making a difference was Boden Morgan, who threw for 149 yards and two TDs on only 12 passes.

Evansville Bosse's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Castle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Evansville Bosse wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 63-0 defeat against Jasper on the 12th. As for Castle, they have also already played their next contest, a 43-0 victory against Evansville Harrison on the 12th.
