Recap: St. Michael's Crusaders vs. Alief Elsik Rams
The St. Michael's Crusaders put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Alief Elsik with a sharp 77-52 win. Considering St. Michael's has won four games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
St. Michael's found their leader in underclassman Bo Ogden, who scored 23 points. The match was Ogden's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Disu, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Alief Elsik's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ricky Wilson, who scored 11 points. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was David Uwalaka, who scored 10 points.
St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Alief Elsik, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
St. Michael's will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Harker Heights at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. As for Alief Elsik, they will face off against Anderson at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
