Volleyball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

Crestview dropped to 9-4 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the St. Paul Flyers by a score of 3-2. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Flyers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Zoe Kuhn paced Crestview's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kuhn got some help from Kloe Morrison and her 21 assists. Kuhn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

As for St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since October 23, 2024.

St. Paul found their leader in sophomore Ryleigh Mansfield Bush, who had 11 digs and three aces. Kegney Stoll also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Crestview has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Western Reserve on the 16th. As for St. Paul, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against New London on the 16th.
