Soccer Recap: Wesson Comes Up Short

Wesson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Franklin County Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cobras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in December of 2024.

Wesson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Franklin County, they pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Wesson will take on Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Franklin County, they will face off against Bogue Chitto at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin County is facing Bogue Chitto at the right time seeing as Bogue Chitto is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
