Kaplan entered their tilt with French Settlement on Friday with 22 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 23. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 10-6. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaplan's victory was their 18th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 33-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for French Settlement, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-14 record.
