Softball Recap: Gettysburg Comes Up Short

Gettysburg lost to Red Land back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Patriots, falling 15-5.

Fallon Jackson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Sierra Shepherd, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Gettysburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Red Land, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Gettysburg will face off against Hershey at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Land, they will take on Carlisle at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
