 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Henry County, the Dickson County Cougars were happy to have found some success  on Friday. They came out on top against Springfield by a score of  60-53. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Dickson County considering their 24-point performance the  contest before.
 Dickson County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Keely Webb led the charge by  scoring 31 points along with two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Webb has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Edmisson, who  went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 2 assists.
 Springfield lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Rayne Erickson, who  scored 18 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.  Amaya Walker was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with two  steals.
 Dickson County is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 10-20 record  this season. As for Springfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
 Dickson County will square off against Clarksville at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Clarksville will roll in looking for their  29th straight  win, something Dickson County surely won't give up without a fight. Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
