They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Erie Tigers and snuck past 3-2. Evergreen better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Nadia Leunig, as she scored every single goal for her team.
Evergreen pushed their record up to 10-5-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Erie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6-1.
Evergreen will head out on the road to square off against Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Windsor will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Evergreen surely won't give up without a fight. Erie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
