 If South East was feeling good  off their  15-3 takedown of Narbonne last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South East Jaguars'  rough  18-5 loss to the Garfield Bulldogs  on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South East of the  16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March.
  Amy Mukul made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.
 On Garfield's side,  Coco Priebe was a standout: she fired off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bella Garcia, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 South East's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Garfield,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 13-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South East is on the road again  on Wednesday to play Huntington Park at 4:30  p.m. Huntington Park is coming into the  game with three straight  defeats at home,  meaning South East will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. As for Garfield, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Eagle Rock at 2:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Garfield's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9  runs per game  this season, so Eagle Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
