Softball Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

Eldorado extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 20 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-5 in the process. They lost 24-0 to the Hamilton County Foxes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Foxes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-3 on Tuesday.

As for Hamilton County, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. That 24 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Hamilton County's part, Trinity Boyd was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Boyd has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsie Ashcraft, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Eldorado has already played their next matchup (against Hardin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hamilton County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-10 defeat against Salem on the 12th.
