Volleyball Recap: John Yowell Academy Takes a Loss

John Yowell Academy lost against Hayworth Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

John Yowell Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hayworth Christian work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 23-25, 25-22.

John Yowell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hayworth Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Yowell Academy will face off against Quality Education Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayworth Christian, they will take on Legacy Athletics at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
