Everything went their way against the Old Mill Patriots on Thursday as they made off with an 11-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.
Tiffany Mewshaw looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Paige Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Taylor Castle, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Northeast hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive games.
Northeast's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1.
