Genoa-Hugo/Karval won the last time they faced Hanover and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Genoa-Hugo/Karval took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-14.

Rylee Corn paced Genoa-Hugo/Karval's offense, picking up 11 kills. Corn got some help from Rylee Kelly and her 14 assists. Alexis James controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
