Volleyball Game Preview: Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors vs. Chesterton Trojans

The Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors will face off against the Chesterton Trojans at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Hammond Bishop Noll made easy work of Hammond Morton and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Governors: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Chesterton got the win against Valparaiso on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Chesterton's got stronger as the match went on, holding Valparaiso to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-17.

Chesterton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Hammond Bishop Noll was able to grind out a solid win over Chesterton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
