Volleyball Recap: Harrisonburg Starts Season with Victory Against Monticello + How To Watch

Harrisonburg had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Monticello Mustangs by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Nadia Mithqal and Delaney Wood certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Mithqal had 26 digs and seven aces, while Wood had six digs and four aces.

Coming up, Harrisonburg will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Staunton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monticello, they will head out on the road to challenge William Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
