Volleyball Recap: Northeast Dubois Comes Up Short

Northeast Dubois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Tecumseh Braves. The Jeeps were not able to make up for their defeat to the Braves from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Northeast Dubois was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tecumseh work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-10.

Bailey Werner paced Northeast Dubois' offense, picking up seven kills. Werner got some help from Raynie Schnell and her 15 assists. Addison Elliott controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Northeast Dubois' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tecumseh, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Dubois will face off against Evansville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tecumseh, they will head out to face off against Evansville North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
