Volleyball Recap: Salem Hills Skyhawks vs. Pleasant Grove Vikings
Salem Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Pleasant Grove Vikings, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Skyhawks have suffered against the Vikings since August 30, 2016.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-21.
Kaycee Van Horn paced Salem Hills' offense, picking up six kills. Van Horn got some help from Evee Schaerrer and her 14 assists. Aspen Tolbert controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Salem Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Pleasant Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.
